Thinking ahead to

get ahead

Welcome to Chaingrappling.com, chain grapplers

Martial arts is above all else a mind game. People that are very good have a high level of physical fitness and knowledge—but that isn’t what makes them good, nor does it help you achieve similar results. Those attributes are outcomes that someone with the right mindset ends up with. The real edge comes from how you think: Know your opponent. Know yourself. Use misdirection. Create kazushi. Stay humble yet confident. In Short: stay most improved and most valuable will take care of itself.

At Chain Grappling, we focus on strategy first. Base, posture, and connection are non-negotiable. Off-balance before you attack. Think two moves ahead. Develop ambidextrous execution so you’re just as dangerous left as right. Be willing to do what others won’t do. Build self-efficacy through small wins stacked over time. This is where a growth mindset meets clear outcomes, next actions, and timelines.

Grapple smarter, not harder.

"He does exactly what I preach to everyone. Not only does he come in and learn from me and the other coaches, you can only get so good so fast doing that.  Aaron took it to heart to study at home, he runs stuff off of me every time he is in, he is always looking to improve, he is a true student of the art ."
